  • More Info From The Farmer

    • How did you come into growing and processing coffee?

We buy coffee from farmers' gardens, the coffee is planted with superior seeds so that it can produce perfect coffee cherries, then their coffee is processed with applicable standards in order to produce good quality.

What is a day in your life like?

Every day we go to the coffee plantation and clear the land in the garden and look after the coffee trees to produce perfect chery fruit.

What opportunities are you looking for from people that buy your coffee.

In principle, we must provide good quality coffee to buyers with the aim that they are satisfied and like the character of the coffee that we provide, because this coffee is taken from small farmers' gardens with traditional and sustainable farming patterns.

Where does your passion come from?

At first I saw coffee farming as very potential and full of challenges, because in general we know that Gayo Sumatra coffee has a special and unique character, this is a motivation for myself and my friends to start the business

What makes this green crop different from others that you have harvested?

The coffee plant is a staple crop to support the life of farmers, while other crops such as Palawija and seasonal crops are used to increase farmers' income which can help economic value

Are you looking to grow relationships with people year to year to buy from you?

In principle, business must be built with a relationship of trust and sustainability, therefore we always try and innovate to continue to provide the best coffee to buyers who trust in buying coffee from us

What makes your coffee different from others?

For Sumatra Gayo coffee, we actually know that it has a different geographical location, because the coffee is planted in hills and valleys with an average height of 1350 - 1600 masl, what makes our coffee different is the post-harvest process, we do it really with standards and very clean, such as washing and drying, meaning that the process from upstream to downstream must always be controlled so that the results are as expected.

      More Info

This coffee comes from a small mill in the Pegasing district of Takengon, in Sumatra's coffee-famous Aceh region. The mill serves several small coffee producers within the Pantan Musara villages; several years ago, these producers were dislocated from their homes and land because of a natural disaster, and they have rebuilt their lives and farms with a new focus on coffee. Unlike the vast majority of other Sumatran coffee receiving and processing centers, this mill is producing Washed coffees, as well as Naturals.

Coffee is delivered to the mill by producers in the area, and only fresh red cherries will be purchased. Naturals are spread into a drying house or on raised tables to dry.

We strive to ship orders as they come in as long as the coffee is fresh but this can result into our coffee being shipped a couple of days after order.  Thank you for your patience for great coffee.
