Where are you located?

We currently have our one flagship location in Henderson, NV. Located at 11041 S. Eastern Avenue Suite 115, Henderson, Nevada. From our current location we operate a full coffee shop, roasters & production cold brewery.

When should I drink my coffee?

Please let the coffee degass 14 days before brewing your coffee! I know contrary to popular belief that the fresher the coffee the better. Degassing coffee allows the release of carbon dioxide that has been trapped in the beans during the roasting process. By letting your coffee rest, it results in a more flavorful and aromatic cup of coffee, as the degassed beans will brew more evenly and extract more fully.

It's like letting your coffee breathe and stretch its legs before the big race, trust us, it's worth the extra step.

What types of coffee beans do you offer?

We offer coffee from all over the coffee growing regions of the world. If you check out our coffee page you will see coffee from Colombia, Ethiopia, Panama, El Salvador & many more countries.

What are the best ways to brew your coffee?

Dark Moon is an omni roaster. Meaning all of our coffee can be brewed in any brewing device. We do not roast a specific way for a specific method as we believe coffee should be able to be brewed however you like. With that being said, all of our coffee could be brewing as espresso, pourover, cold brew, french press, drip coffee etc.

How do you source your coffee beans?

We source our coffee very carefully, we have many different coffee importing parners that we work with to help us supply unique & flavorful coffee that we want to showcase. This process includes sample roasting many coffee samples at a time from many different coffee farms to make a purchasing decision.

Do you offer light roasts or dark?

We roast our coffee in a nordic style approach with the coffee resulting in the light to medium spectrum. Some of the coffee that we do offer does look darker than normal, that is due to different growing elevations, different processing methods & many other factors.

How should I store my coffee beans to maintain freshness?

Right in our coffee bag. Our bags are resealable using a zip method, no need to fold the bag, use zip ties or put into a different container. The coffee will remain the freshness by staying in the bag & only opening when you intend to brew the coffee!

Do you offer wholesale options for coffee shops and cafes?

Yes we do, we offer wholesale coffee in Las Vegas & across the country. With our vast experience are able to assist in all types of coffee programs to help make serving Dark Moon Coffee a success! Check out our wholesale coffee page for more info!

Where can I buy your coffee?

You can purchase our coffee online & at our flagship coffee shop in Henderson, NV. Our coffee is also sold at all 4 Las Vegas valley Whole Foods locations as well as many other coffee shops around town shown on our wholesale page.

Do you offer any subscriptions or regular delivery options?

Yes! We offer 2, 3 & 4 bag options for our monthly subscription! We make it easy & simple by rotated our single origin coffees each month! And cancel anytime!

Do you offer any decaffeinated coffee options?

Yes, we currently have one decaf coffee option from Colombia.

Do you offer any organic coffee?

Specialty coffee is a high-quality coffee that is graded and rated based on its flavor profile and the skill of the roaster. Organic coffee is grown using methods that do not involve synthetic fertilizers or pesticides, and must meet certain certification standards. Both specialty and organic coffee are considered premium options, but obtaining organic certification can be more expensive for farmers and roasters, making it a "pay to play" program.

We are not currently an organic certified facility as it is an extensive process to understake but we do abide by many of the contingencies that are in the program. Many of the coffees that we buy are organic certified but we are not able legally state that on the label as we are not an organic certified facility. At some point we may revisit getting our facility certified organic.

When do you ship your coffee?

Everyday of the week. We do our very best to ship our coffee as it is roasted or within 5 days off roast. Sometimes orders will take a couple days to ship as we roast different coffee on different days. We will ensure that by the time the coffee gets delivered to you it will still be able to be degassed a proper amount of time before brewing!
