Multi-Roaster Coffee Program
Since we first opened, we here at Dark Moon have set our sights at ingraining ourselves in the greater world-wide coffee industry. From following other shops, ordering special coffees, to serving our personal collections to friends and family. We’ve done the research, and we’re ready to share what we’ve found with our community here in Henderson! In order to do so, we have decided to pick a few coffee roasters from around the world to highlight at a time, both behind the bar, and on our shelf.
One thing coffee shops in Las Vegas sorely lacks is a true multi-roaster shop-experience. The essence of this program is a coffee shop that doesn’t roast their own beans, but will feature 3 or more different roasteries rotating their selection monthly, bi-weekly, or whenever something new and exciting comes along. Even though we work tirelessly to source and roast a beautiful cup, we now have the ability to showcase some of our favorites from around the world alongside our own! We aren’t meaning to compete with ourselves, but we would love to give to our the ability to try new and exciting coffees they might not have otherwise found!
To start this off, we’re featuring some of our favorites from around the world! Our friends from Ipswich, Massachusetts, Little Wolf Coffee. For those interested in what’s going on further away, Morgon Coffee will be our second offering, coming all the way from Gothenburg Sweden! We’ll be ordering a variety of bags from both of our partners weekly to have a supply of retail bags available to pick up on our shelves and we will also offer a coffee from each partner as Hand Brew or Single Origin Espresso!
When choosing what coffees to feature from our guest roasters, we always look to purchase regions and/or flavor profiles that are different from our current offerings. That way there’s always a flavor available for everyone! We hope you’re as excited about the launch of this new program, and we can’t wait to share more of our favorite roasteries as the year rolls along!
